Small Electronics

Small electronics are the name of the game in today’s high-tech world. Digital technology has allowed electronics companies to make their various devices smaller, yet more powerful. It is a trend that has continued for at least the last decade or so.

Digital cameras are a good example of the trend towards small electronics. Today, digital cameras can be purchased that are small enough to fit into a shirt pocket. Video cameras have also become smaller and smaller over the last few years.

Computers are another example of the small electronics revolution. Just a few decades ago a computer would occupy an entire room and yet have the computing power of an average calculator today. However, today’s computers are often smaller than a standard notebook of paper and are hundreds of times more powerful.
